Highland Marketing welcomes another industry advisor

This week (w/c 14 January 2013) Highland Marketing appointed Dr Kerry Mathewson to their growing panel of industry advisors, now boasting considerable healthcare experience.

Dr Mathewson joins Jeremy Nettle, chairman of Intellect Healthcare Group and Ravi Kumar , chairman of Zanec Software Technologies in an advisory team which supports specialist marketing and PR activities for healthcare organisations around the world.

As a practicing GP for the last fifteen years, Dr Mathewson will provide clinical knowledge to support communications projects for Highland Marketing. His career has seen him work in clinical research with international company Quintiles, where he was responsible for a wide range of projects and phases of drug development. His time engaged on phase 1 to 3 projects ranging from cosmetic product development to new applications for existing products in existing markets, will support Highland Marketing at a time of convergence of different healthcare environments i.e. Parma, life sciences and clinical research. Dr Mathewson is currently a Scottish council member for the Royal Collage of General Practitioners.

Commenting on his appointment, Dr Mathewson said: “I’ve always been keen to share my healthcare experience wherever I can, so this was the perfect opportunity for me. I’m looking forward to working with Highland Marketing, and, in turn, supporting organisations looking to improve the quality of healthcare, not just domestically but internationally.”
