Highland Marketing appoint Alex Leyton as design lead

Specialist healthcare PR and marketing communications agency Highland Marketing has extended its design and creative capabilities with the appointment of Alex Leyton as design lead.

Highland Marketing add Alex’s experience in visual communications to their increasing pool of talent and skills, furthering their ability to deliver high quality marketing projects which include a major element of graphic design, in addition to other services including PR, social media and business development.

Alex, a graduate in Visual Communication from Arts University of Bournemouth, will play a key role in developing and producing marketing activities including branding, websites, video production, promotional material, displays, amongst others. Visual communication is a discipline that considers the best possible way for a company to present its key messages to its target audience, a skill highly valuable within marketing and communications.

Leyton said: “Having previously enjoyed working with Highland Marketing as a freelancer, it is great to have the opportunity to be part of the team. From the outset, I could see their energetic work ethic, eye for detail and passion for clear and effective communications.

“I am looking forward to supporting Highland Marketing’s clients with their marketing challenges, with the aim of increasing their profile and customer base within the healthcare market.”

Mark Venables, CEO of Highland Marketing added: “We were very impressed with Alex’s creative capabilities having seen some of his previous work. Alex brings invaluable experience, along with a varied creative skills base, which undoubtedly makes us stronger as a team.

“We pride ourselves on being able to offer a comprehensive marketing and communications service to all our clients, and having Alex onboard is an extremely significant step in enabling us to extend that offer. This is not, by far, the end of our recruitment drive, as we are still actively looking to increase our team and continue to grow in the New Year and beyond.”
